At its April 24 meeting the DeWitt County Board approved several appointments and reappointments across local districts and boards. Motions moved and seconded by board members were recorded as carried unanimously.
Appointments and reappointments included re-appointing Steve Schaefer to the Clinton Sanitary District for a three-year term ending the first Monday in May 2028; appointing Kelly Burton to the DeWitt County Community Mental Health Board to fill an unexpired term ending Oct. 31, 2026; re-appointing Rebecca Perry as trustee to the Kenney Fire Protection District through April 30, 2028; appointing Jeffrey Wrage as trustee to the Wapella Community Fire Protection District through May 2028; and re-appointing John Perring as trustee to the Waynesville Community Fire Protection District through May 2028. Additional reappointments to the Clinton Community Fire Protection District and Weldon Community Fire Protection District were also approved.
