Staff outlined two options: hold a special meeting to conduct the compliance hearing, or amend the original Notice of Decision so that compliance confirmation could be handled administratively without a further hearing. "Either, the board can take a vote, to amend the notice of decision specific to condition subsequent item number 4 ... or hold a special meeting this month to deal with the compliance hearing," staff said.
Board members probed outstanding items from the inspector’s May 14 letter and were told do-not-enter signs had been corrected, storage-area labeling was addressed on the plan as 'per site manager,' and TF Moran had confirmed site stabilization and vegetation. Because board members concluded no substantive issues remained, they asked staff to draft an amended Notice of Decision to treat compliance as an administrative action, rather than calling a special meeting to hear the item.
