Mayor Chad Gluss told council the firm will perform national searches for grant opportunities and can either funnel opportunities to city staff or write grant applications for a fee. "The cost is $5,000 for the year," he said, and the mayor described that as a modest expense if the company brings opportunities the city would otherwise miss.
