Sheridan County commissioners approved a set of right-of-way actions April 7, adopting Resolution 26-04-039 to vacate a portion of Dana Avenue adjacent to specified lots in Downers Addition and Resolution 26-04-040 to vacate a portion of County Road 141 (Old Banner-Story Road / Piney-Prairie Dog Creek Road) after statutorily required notice produced no objections.
County Engineer Ken Muller also presented an application package for a proposed parking area along County Road #26 (Red Grade Road) to the Bureau of Land Management Buffalo field office. The board authorized Chair signature to submit the BLM application and supporting documents; the process may include BLM public meetings and a return to the county for a final decision if the BLM accepts the application.
