Town pushes library trustees and remaining staff to use UKG punch system

Board members pressed for immediate compliance. “For the select board: the individuals who are not currently using this punch in punch out system, they need to immediately start using it,” the chair said, citing the purchase rationale for improved tracking and accountability. Staff responded that the system retains an audit trail and that training and follow‑up with department managers and the library trustees’ chair would continue; the board directed staff to notify the chair of the library trustees and require an explanation if exceptions are requested.
