County Coordinator Lisa Zahl presented an annex office-space proposal to accommodate Western Prairie Human Services. Zahl said Horizon Public Health was willing to relinquish an office used as a landing space if an unused waiting room could be converted into an office; the proposed improvements included installing a door with a window for safety and badge-access entry. On a motion by Dwight Nelson seconded by Chad Metz, the Board unanimously approved the proposal.
The change is intended to provide additional office space for Western Prairie Human Services without purchasing new furniture: the Board agreed to use a spare chair from the Courthouse meeting room to replace a broken chair rather than buy a new one. The proposal proceeds to implementation under County Coordinator oversight.
