County Auditor/Treasurer Kit Johnson told commissioners the Office of the State Auditor's yearly audit letter was approved unanimously on a motion by Commissioner Chad Metz, seconded by Commissioner Dwight Nelson.
Johnson reported that Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simons visited last week and that the county received a Moody's bond rating of Aa3. Johnson also said the county is working on delinquent tax processing and that first-year delinquent tax notices will be published in the paper in March.
