Commission approves multiple 2026-27 retail and guest-ranch liquor licenses

The Sheridan County Commission opened public hearings for multiple 2026–27 retail and guest-ranch liquor license renewals and, after brief presentations or confirmations of "no changes," approved licenses effective June 1, 2026. For Eaton Brothers Inc. (doing business as Eaton’s Ranch) a motion to authorize the chair to sign the guest ranch retail liquor license was moved and carried.
Big Horn Merc Pizza LLC (doing business as Big Horn Mercantile) told the board its only change was adding pasta to its menu; the commission opened and closed the required public hearing and approved the restaurant liquor license for the 2026–27 term. Later the commission opened a consolidated public hearing covering a large list of retailers and moved to approve the entire set of retail licenses; the motion carried. Several applicants were not present and the chair noted those items could be tabled if a representative did not appear.
