County CSA staff asked the board for a gross appropriation of $214,762.79 to complete fiscal year 2025 expenditures for Children's Services Act cases, noting the county's base local match of 32.68.
"We do need the appropriation for the complete $214,762.79," the CSA presenter said, adding that the estimated local cost at the base match rate is roughly $70,185, though that amount will vary if individual youths require residential placements (which increase local match rates) or community‑based services (which lower the match). After questions about state reimbursement timing and coordination, the board moved and approved the appropriation. Staff noted they have already received $269,004.64 from state reimbursements this fiscal year and that monthly reporting practices are designed to accelerate state reimbursements when reports are uploaded by the 12th of the month.
