Auditor wins policy change, notice of award for window replacement approved

Auditor Chandra Schumacher presented a Finance Committee recommendation to remove the fifth bullet point from Attachment A – Daily Investment Procedures in the Lincoln County Investment Policy; the board approved the recommendation by unanimous vote.
The board also authorized the Chair to sign a notice of award and contract for window replacement with Bozco Construction out of session. Later, the Auditor requested permission for the Chair to sign an agreement to change recording fee credit card payments from BridgePay to Tyler Technologies; the board approved that authorization as well. Schumacher said her office would research vehicle gas and travel policy revisions to strengthen fraud prevention.
