The Webster Board of Commissioners on Dec. 4 recognized resident Crystal Cochran for coordinating flight deliveries and distribution efforts at Jackson County Airport following recent storms. Commissioner Brandon Core introduced Cochran and Mayor Tracy Rodes presented her with a framed key to the town as a symbol of appreciation.
The board said Cochran led relief-volunteer coordination and distribution logistics; Cochran "expressed her gratitude to everyone for the honor and recognition" at the meeting. The recognition was preceded by a small reception from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. attended by friends, residents and volunteer colleagues.
