Traverse County approves MOU with Western Prairie Human Services; to lead SAHA committee

Western Prairie Human Services Director Stacy Hennen provided a quarterly update and the Board unanimously approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Western Prairie Human Services for December receivables (motion by Kayla Schmidt, seconded by Chad Metz).
Hennen reviewed federal and legislative developments, described the Governor’s proposed transformation initiatives, and discussed Statewide Affordable Housing Aid (SAHA) funds. She said Traverse County will organize a committee to serve as the lead for SAHA funds, a next step commissioners asked staff to support.
