Commissioner Terry Scott moved to approve the application and Becky Reimer seconded; “Terry Scott made a motion to approve the grant application as presented,” and the board voted unanimously to adopt the application. The application materials note the total requested funds are $292,627 and list monitoring and quarterly outcome reporting requirements tied to KDOC award schedules.
Why it matters: the award—if approved by KDOC—would fund Teen Intervene to work with schools on early substance-use intervention and Project Yes to provide mentoring for youth referred through intermediate intervention programs.
