County Engineer James Wege informed the board that a public hearing had been advertised to amend the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and requested the board sign a resolution to amend the plan. Verification of publication was later provided. Chairman Scott M. Hutsell opened the hearing; no public comment was received and the hearing was closed.
The board initiated county road project CRP No. G-1051 (Road Resolution 2725) and, by action recorded in the minutes, amended the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2026–2031 (Road Resolution 2727). Wege also requested the board sign the Duck Lake Road Project CRP No. G-1050 project drawings and specifications and presented the annual Right of Way Procedures update; the board authorized the Chair to sign the Right of Way Procedures.
In personnel action, the commissioners approved allowing a three-month Leave Without Pay extension for a Public Works employee who has exhausted FMLA leave if no other options exist. The board recorded the motions as approved by unanimous vote and dispensed with formal reading of affidavits where noted in the minutes.
