Mayor Jim Kreemer presented his committee and liaison appointments for 2025 and the council unanimously approved the list. Assignments include Clint Krueger for Public Works & Airport; Jim Kreemer for Planning & Zoning, Public Safety and Administration; Lilah Gripne for Health & Wellness, Library and EDA; and JoAnn Schroeder for Park & Recreation and Liquor Store.
The mayor also named Lilah Gripne acting mayor and listed official city depositories and vendors (Long Prairie Leader as official paper; Schlenner Wenner & Co. as auditors; Quinlivan & Hughes, P.A. as law firm). The council approved the appointments without recorded opposition.
