The Randolph County Commission approved two grant-related resolutions during the Oct. 3 meeting.
Commissioners approved a resolution to apply for the WV Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority 22nd Cycle grant in the amount of $100,000 to support ADA improvements at the Old Jail; the resolution certifies the County has authority to apply and notes the grant requires a 1:1 match. The motion passed unanimously.
The Commission also approved the Justice and Community Services FY2024 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) resolution, which requires a 25% local match. Commissioner Kesling moved both resolutions and the Commission voted to adopt them as official acts of the governing body.
