Trustees and the superintendent discussed the importance of clear agendas, stated purposes for each committee and better communication so residents know when each committee will address issues relevant to them. Several trustees said building initial momentum will require both push (board outreach) and pull (meaningful agendas) strategies; one trustee described the change as a pilot effort this fall. The item was a first reading; the board may return it on consent if no substantial changes are requested.
