Board appoints four student representatives; motion passes 5–0

New appointees introduced themselves at the dais. One student said, "I'm very appreciative for another opportunity to serve on the board," and several trustees urged the students to bring candid student perspectives to future discussions on curriculum, cell-phone use and school climate. The board noted this is the district’s second year of appointing student-elected representatives and asked staff to schedule photos and orientation for the new members.
