Commission approves Avenu bookkeeping contract and Frontier phone/internet upgrade

County IT staff member Kyle Fox presented a one-year contract with Frontier to consolidate the county's phone service under a single vendor, upgrade equipment and internet speed, and enable remote phone use. Fox estimated the consolidation would save the county $36,309.95 per year. Commissioners approved a one-year contract to implement the change, with Commissioner Kesling saying "we can try it for a year" and thanking Fox and Melinda Lott for their work on the proposal.
