The Dewey Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously on Nov. 3, 2025, to reorganize its leadership and elect new officers.
Board member David Cleveland moved "to: Reorganize and elect DPS Board of Education positions as follows: School Board President: Amanda Nichols; School Board Vice President: Amanda Guilfoyle; School Board Clerk: David Cleveland." Amanda Nichols seconded the motion and the vote recorded all five members—Emily Case, Julie Davis, David Cleveland, Amanda Guilfoyle and Amanda Nichols—as voting yes.
The reorganization was taken as an ordinary business motion during the board meeting at the Administration Building conference room. The newly elected officers will serve according to the board's rules until the board next takes action to change those assignments.
