The Randolph County Commission voted Nov. 21 to certify the official results of the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election after County Clerk Brenda Wiseman presented the canvassed totals. Wiseman told the commission the canvass added 16 votes to the reported totals and that the statutory period to request a recount has expired.
Commissioner David Kesling moved to certify the results; the motion carried with a unanimous vote. The certification was recorded as the commission continued routine county business at the Wees Annex in Elkins.
