County begins ERP/HRIS rollout; annual Tyler Technologies subscription listed at $118,000

Finance staff told the committee that the county is beginning to see implementation costs for Tyler Technologies as the new ERP and HRIS systems are rolled out. "Those are significant. So that is $118,000 a year," staff said of recurring subscription costs. The county has also forwarded payroll data and finalized a chart of accounts as part of initial setup; finance staff said some modules (client-information management) are not covered by the ERP and may require separate solutions.
Committee members asked whether client-management needs could be met by the new accounting system; staff said Tyler is primarily an accounting/payroll platform and that the county will continue to evaluate separate client-management solutions where needed. Staff said the audit for Vernon Manor is wrapping up and that a formal report to the board of trustees is expected shortly.
