Treasurer Karen told the Vernon County board the county had $15,527,004.84 in bank balances. "Our balance is $15,527,004.84," she said while presenting the cash-flow page and month-end receipts.
Karen also reported daily receipts of $2,605,719.57, sales tax for December of $180,738.95, and delinquent real-estate tax payments of $13,001.16 with an outstanding delinquent balance around $902,004.72. Board members requested follow-up on one delinquent account that remains in Nikki's hands and asked staff to report back once there is a status update.
