Logistics discussed included the need for an ABC permit for the beer garden (to be run by the Boosters) and volunteer recruitment for activities like judging. Village Market is sponsoring the watermelon contest and providing fruit. Eva said longtime volunteer Susan Hill will continue to help the event even as PRD takes a larger role in production. "We estimate is 2 to 3,000 people who come in those 4 hours," she told commissioners.
