MMAC members were informed that the county has issued a Request for Qualifications for firms to conduct an Initial Feasibility Assessment (IFA) related to incorporation exploration. The memo indicated approximately three qualified firms are expected and that the IFA is state-funded at $50,000 with an estimated one-year timeline. Colette Santsche is scheduled to present findings and next steps to MMAC in July.
Members discussed timing and the role of the RFQ in selecting a consultant; no commitment or formal endorsement was taken at the meeting, but MMAC will receive the IFA presentation when consultants are identified.
