St. Joseph board honors teachers and students for regional, state and national achievements

The board also recognized Samantha Shirley for selection as a 2026 Alfred Lerner Fellow and several student athletes from Lafayette and Benton high schools who placed at the state track meet. Trustees congratulated Zeke Simpson for earning a fourth‑place finish in the international 12th‑grade division of a national mathematics competition and noted he will represent Central High and the U.S. in that competition.
