President Beck announced the hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in opposition or favor; no members of the public responded. "This is for Cielo Bar LLC doing business as Cielo Bar located at 416 Broad Street in District 4," Beck said when introducing the item.
A council member moved to adopt the resolution and, after a second, the clerk called for a voice vote. The motion carried and the resolution was adopted, formally clearing the application to receive the Class I lounge retail liquor license. The council recorded no public opposition during the hearing.
