Resident donates historic photo for Village Hall; board discusses cleanup and stray cats

Treasurer Rhonda Hodges told the board that resident Alice Daily dedicated a picture of the Wagner General Store and Post Office — buildings that formerly sat where the current Village Hall is located — and that the picture will be displayed at the hall.

At additional business, Alice asked whether the village could clean the area between Butlers and the railroad tracks; the board said it did not know who previously cleaned that right-of-way. A resident identified as Deb asked about options for stray cats; Trustee Terri Baker said PCAP could be called but that organization euthanizes; Baker added other organizations will neuter and return cats to the location where they were picked up.
