Finance staff told the Select Board that delinquent property taxes totaled $178,349 as of June 11, 2026, down from $298,749 the prior year. Officials said the fiscal year is 98% complete and expenditures sit at 102% of estimates, driven in part by higher winter highway costs; revenues are projected to exceed estimates by roughly 18, or about $65,000.
The board reviewed sinking fund and ARPA allocations: ARPA balance listed at $582,000 with line items including Town Office Solar ($80,000), Mad Tom Road site ($175,000; $72,937 spent so far), Raptor Lane feasibility study ($40,000), White & Burke Raptor Lane study ($77,777), VHB natural resource study ($28,450), and housing market study ($38,000, $16,315 spent to date). Auditors from Mudgett & Co. are scheduled to visit town offices in the coming weeks.
