The change shifts the scope away from a new path toward right-of-way modifications and streetscape elements.
The board was told that signs for a No Parking zone extension and a speed limit change on Route 30 should be installed soon. Staff will report back with updated cost estimates and design details when available.
The board’s discussion suggested incremental design changes rather than a larger multimodal investment this year; additional vendor and resident engagement on playground and pavilion options was discussed separately for East Dorset Green.
