The Select Board said it expects further feedback from VTrans on a Route 7 concept but noted the state appears to have limited funding appetite for the idea. The minutes state: "We expect to have additional feedback from VTrans on the Route 7 'concept' soon. Unfortunately, it seems like there isn’t much funding or State appetite to support the idea."
Separately, the Town received Traffic Committee approval on 5/13 to extend a No Parking area south of the Quarry and to extend the 30 mph zone south of HN Williams; the Board described these changes as beneficial. For East Dorset flooding, the minutes record that FEMA is not accepting HMGP applications at the moment, which limits the town’s ability to pursue Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funding for flood projects.
