MEDA to pursue PREP‑D grant for second industrial park; Journey Nutrition and KanOkla broadband coming to Medford

At its May 13 meeting MEDA approved its minutes and financial report and heard updates from the Economic Development Director. The director said the authority will submit a PREP‑D funding application to support a second industrial park and that Journey Nutrition expects to open in June at 108 N. Main St.
The director also reported that KanOkla is beginning a fiber rollout that will service all of Medford, and that the authority would like to pursue promotional advertising to highlight local amenities such as the school and parks. MEDA approved claims and adjourned at 5:18 p.m.
