Story County supervisors approve consent agenda and routine business at Feb. 17 meeting

The Story County Board of Supervisors convened at 10:00 a.m. Feb. 17, 2026, at the Story County Administration Building and handled routine business, approving the meeting agenda, Feb. 10 minutes, personnel actions and a multi-item consent agenda on unanimous roll-call votes.
Clerk read the actions recorded in the meeting packet and the Board approved them without debate. As the meeting minutes state, "Motion carried unanimously (MCU) on a roll call vote." The consent agenda included a Federal-Aid Agreement for Project No. BROS-C085(190)--8J-85 (a county highway bridge project); a 28E Agreement for alcohol product enforcement with the Iowa Department of Revenue effective Jan. 23–June 30, 2026; a cash-rent farm lease amendment for the Deppe Family Conservation Area for 2026; Change Order No. 6 for Heart of Iowa Nature Trail paving (Phases 4, 5, 6 and 7A) with Wicks Construction Inc. for a credit of -$58,401.14; and Utility Permit #26-8760.
Supervisor Lisa Heddens moved to adopt the agenda; Supervisor Latifah Faisal seconded. Faisal moved to approve the consent agenda later in the meeting and Heddens seconded; all motions passed unanimously by roll call. The Board adjourned at 10:06 a.m.
