County approves $366,940 renewal for 911 CAD maintenance and licensing

Bob Shackley, representing public safety, asked the board to approve the annual renewal for computer-aided dispatch maintenance and software licensing with Intergraph Corporation, doing business as Octave. Shackley said the total cost is $366,940.56, an increase of $49,852.68, and that the contract includes 57 line items covering CAD components and related interfaces used to process and dispatch 911 calls.
Commissioners had no further questions and approved the renewal by voice vote. The county will continue the software and maintenance arrangement to support the 911 center's dispatching operations.
