At its Jan. 2 reorganization meeting the Carneys Point Township Committee approved a package of resolutions and administrative actions by unanimous votes of the members present. Key recorded outcomes included the election of Kenneth H. Brown as mayor and Patrick Bomba as deputy mayor; appointments of municipal counsel, accountant, bond counsel and engineer; approval of vendor contracts; adoption of a temporary budget; and appointments to boards and authorities.
The committee also approved payment of audited vouchers in the amount of $1,251,787.96. Most motions were made and seconded by named committee members and recorded as unanimous roll call votes; Mrs. Shaw was noted as absent due to surgery.
