Assessor reports revaluation delay; DOT declines sidewalk application to Rec Complex

Mayor Brown read correspondence from the State DOT about the township’s inclusion in the 2025 Transportation Alternate Set-Aside program for pedestrian and trail facilities. Engineer Steve Cosaboon told the committee the State "did not look favorable on the application for sidewalk from Sandy Ridge to the Recreation Complex."
In Old Business Assessor Kathleen Hill reported the revaluation work started late, the County granted a modest extension, and assessors made two attempts to reach each home. Hill said homeowners must now schedule appointments and that the revaluation closing will be in January. The committee recorded the updates and directed departments to continue statutory and administrative follow-up as required.
