Committee approves $38,000 budget transfer, hires public works employee, and grants two tax refunds

On Dec. 18 the Township Committee adopted several administrative resolutions. Resolution 2024-221 authorized a transfer of $38,000 within the 2024 municipal budget (motion by Mr. Pelura; second Mr. Bomba). The committee also approved Resolution 2024-222 to hire Daniel Fredo as a full-time Public Works employee effective Jan. 6, 2025.
The committee approved two tax refund and cancellation resolutions for properties receiving a 100% Disabled Veteran Exemption: Block 164 Lot 1 for $816.17 (Resolution 2024-223) and Block 118 Lot 2 for $475.31 (Resolution 2024-224). All motions were approved by unanimous votes.
