Residents urge caution on warehouses, traffic and local services during public comment

Several residents used the public-comment portion of the meeting to raise concerns about new warehouses, traffic safety, town services and municipal responsiveness.
Joe Wright of Grandview Court asked what was being proposed near his property and said, "I do not want another warehouse." Mrs. Tunis of Lotus Lane echoed that position, saying, "I do not want anymore warehouses," and asked how the township is helping neighbors. Martin Cleary of Broad St. asked about parking complaints by a neighbor and suggested moving a white stop line back 20 to 25 feet to ease large-truck turns; Mayor Brown said some DOT road improvements are pending and that outside work at some warehouses is complete while interior work continues. Resident Robert Naylor reported the township website's ADA issues have been mostly corrected (from about 292 issues to 12–15) and requested clarification of ordinances and solicitor responsiveness.
Chief of Police D. VanNamee addressed a resident's question about block-party permits, saying he does not approve them because of the number of complaints the department receives. The meeting record shows the committee acknowledged the community concerns; several items (traffic turn geometry, veteran flag placement, and ordinance clarifications) were described as being worked on or pending further action.
