The district’s educational‑services leader told the board Round Lake completed the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) cyclical monitoring process and received no findings related to policies, procedures or systems. She said the monitoring did identify issues limited to IEP documentation errors and that corrected IEPs will be resubmitted to ISBE by the October deadline.
"We completed our ISBE cyclical monitoring process. I'm proud to share that there were no findings related to our policies, procedures, or systems. The findings we did receive were limited to IEP documentation," the presenter said, adding the district has already submitted a corrective action plan and will focus on targeted training and administrative oversight to avoid repeat errors.
