The Tompkins County Legislature unanimously adopted Tompkins Cortland Community College's 2025–26 operating budget on July 15, passing Resolution G by roll call vote.
Dennis Panaguitas, who introduced himself to the legislature as TC3’s chief financial officer, thanked the county for its longstanding support. "My name is Dennis Panaguitas, and I represent the Tomchings Cortland Community College. I'm the, Chief Financial Officer," he told the meeting during the public hearing. Legislator Lane introduced the budget resolution and praised college staff for their work preparing the plan.
Legislators said the adopted budget requires no changes to the county’s general operating funds. The clerk recorded a unanimous vote (13 ayes). Amy Kremenek, TC3's president, joined virtually and offered the college’s appreciation.
The county will continue to monitor future requests and collaborate with the college on long‑term support and planning.
