The City Council took several formal actions by recorded voice vote during the Feb. 9 meeting. Key outcomes included unanimous approval (5-0) of the meeting agenda and consent agenda; the appointment of Tracy Grinnell and Kendra Sailor to the Planning & Zoning Commission; approval of equipment purchases in Public Works (Bobcat and two Toro zero-turn mowers); approval of a snowmobile-permit/landowner agreement with the Wright County Snowmobile Association; and authorization to contract for a $9,000 classification and compensation study with DDA & Associates.
Other administrative directions included a council consensus to allow developers to proceed with pre-application work for a Littlehaven Autocross concept and a council decision to schedule a workshop and pause enforcement of the rental-licensing ordinance while staff and stakeholders review implementation details.
