Board adopts consent agenda; director requests follow-up on uncollected embezzlement judgment

Director Coler pulled Item 4g (the audit) for discussion and raised questions about uncollected funds tied to an embezzlement by an individual identified in the audit as Mollenkopf. The minutes state an extension of the judgment against Mollenkopf will expire in March 2026 and Board members discussed past collection attempts, the possibility of engaging a collections agency, and whether to extend the judgment again; Coler asked that the Board add a collections discussion to the January 2026 agenda.
