Ross Valley Fire staff demonstrated a new website set to go live Friday, Feb. 6, which will host board materials, meeting packets and tools to schedule prevention inspections, staff said.
Staff said the platform (built with Streamline) will allow the department to upload photos and video, automatically surface social media posts, and include an ADA-overlay compliance tool. Directors asked for front-and-center links to Marin Wildfire and Fire Safe Marin and for confirmation that the site supports Google Translate; staff indicated the platform includes translation functionality. The website rollout will coincide with the closure of an existing recruitment and will be available ahead of the next board meeting for directors to review.
