After a public hearing with no public comments, the Montrose City Council adopted Resolution 2025-16 to vacate a drainage and utility easement recorded on the plat of the Preserve of Montrose.
City staff explained the easement layout no longer matches the replat for the Preserve of Montrose 2nd edition; the vacation is intended to remove an underlying easement that would otherwise overlap the new drainage and utility easement configuration. The city attorney reminded the council that the public hearing is required by statute before adopting the resolution.
Council voted 4-0 to approve the resolution following the hearing closure. No public testimony was offered during the hearing.
