The South Weber Planning Commission approved the preliminary plat for the Brimley Subdivision at its Aug. 14, 2025 meeting. Community Development Manager Lance Evans reported the site, at approximately 7513 S. 1900 E., is zoned R‑M (Residential Moderate Density) and that the applicant, Grandon Brimley, proposes dividing a 1.8‑acre parcel into four single‑family lots that comply with the zone's maximum density.
Evans said the subdivision will be served by a private lane with a cul‑de‑sac and that City Engineer Brandon Jones has reviewed and given approval for the preliminary plat. Commissioners Marty McFadden, Chris Roberts and Chad Skola voted aye on the motion to approve.
