Director Brent Shults and Robert Campbell of Robert Campbell & Associates presented the March 14 bid tabulation that also included bids from Horizon Underground ($1,968,300.00) and HL Management Service ($2,882,900.00).
Commissioner Mike Chambers moved to accept Merkel Brothers Construction's bid contingent on funding-agent approval; Commissioner Brandon Headrick seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The committee recorded the award as contingent on the funding agent's final approval before work may begin.
