Council discusses community dump day, mattress and tire disposal grants

Kay Richards read an email from CalTrans and participants suggested contacting the local trash company to ask for a free disposal day or to explore quarterly community recycling/CRV collection options.
John H. noted existing programs for mattress and tire disposal grants and attendees proposed looking into those funding streams to avoid illegal dumping. The council agreed to put the item on the September agenda for more concrete planning and grant pursuit.
