RVAMAC discussed a requested letter of support for the Covelo Fire Hydrant project; the Covelo Community Services District (CCSD) is prepared to be the sub-applicant for this phase of funding. Lew Chichester explained the application process and what a support letter would entail.
Members noted that Dane Downing must recuse from any vote due to his employment with CCSD, and that the RVAMAC will need at least four council members (excluding Downing) present at the next meeting to approve any letter. No motion to approve the letter was taken at this meeting; the item was placed on the October agenda.
