Board approves emergency attendance allowances, amended calendar and revised Prop 28 arts plan

The board approved J-13A requests for allowance of attendance due to emergency conditions, covering the February 13, 2025, school closure for a major snow storm and the October 18, 2024, closure. Both J-13A items were accepted as part of the curriculum and instructional services agenda and approved by motion.
The board also approved an amended Round Valley JESD 2024–2025 school calendar and adopted a revised Prop 28 arts and music expenditure plan for funds from both 2023/24 and 2024/25. Each motion was moved and seconded and recorded as passing with Ayes 3 and Noes 0. The Prop 28 revision applies state arts-and-music funding to district expenditure plans for the referenced fiscal years.
