Residents urge equal enforcement of cannabis laws; RVAMAC to consider letter to supervisors

Sheriff Kendall said state and county abatement programs exist but enforcement is uneven, and that "the Dept. of Cannabis Control decides who to control." John H. added that code enforcement action is complaint-driven and encouraged residents to file complaints to create pressure for investigations. Members agreed to place a draft letter on the October agenda; Rio Cardone offered to help draft, and John H. said he could carry an RVAMAC letter to the Board of Supervisors.
